This week we highlight Christina’s fitness journey. She has been with us since her hip surgery and has transformed not only her body but her personal mindset and the mindset of her daughters! She has progressed from 15 minutes on the treadmill to classes 3-4 times a week and personal training sessions! It has been inspiring to watch her grow in strength and confidence. Christina knew she could and SHE DID!
We love when our SweatSisters share their love of fitness and health with their kids. Christina is teaching her daughter that fitness is about staying mentally healthy also.
“I rearranged my schedule so I could bring my 10 yr old to some classes. She didn’t understand why I love going so often and I felt guilty for leaving her home when I went. She’s been at home miserable for a year [due to the pandemic], alone half the time as her parents both work. She has been coming with me the last few weeks and has some favorite classes and now looks forward to going to the gym. She’s changed so much in the last few weeks. She smiles more, she comes home and practices some of her routines, she’s happier. She even gets on stage with Mel during POUND! I honestly can’t thank you and your team enough. Transformations has made a positive impact on my quality of life as I continue to rehabilitate and heal, but now my daughter as well and I am grateful. It really takes some weight off a mom’s shoulders when your children are happy too.”
