A Letter to Our Members
To our beautiful tribe of women at Transformations,

We know the past several months have been full of uncertainty.  We are all adjusting to this new “normal” and it can be overwhelming.

Our staff wants you to know we are in this with you.  We are facing the same struggles, feeling the same feelings, and praying all of this will settle soon.

We have scrambled behind the scenes to adapt quickly to the situation so that we can stay connected with you and help you stay active.  Exercise boosts our immune system, improves our mood, and decreases our stress levels.   All of which can truly make a difference under the given circumstances.

We are here to support you however we can.  We are offering four fitness options to our members.  Both locations are offering indoor and outdoor classes.  Due to our limited capacity, we are asking that members reserve a spot in classes or on equipment using Motionvibe.  This allows us to safely distance our members and provide proper cleaning protocols before and after class.  For members who feel safest at home, LIVE Classes with your favorite instructors are hosted on Zoom everyday.  You may also stream workouts on your own time using the links on our YouTube Channel, in our Buti Portal and on Motionvibe.  Please contact us if you need assistance in accessing those options.  

We have sent emails full of information and options.  If you need assistance with anything, do not hesitate to contact us via the form below or by phone.  We are here to help keep you active and happy!

We humbly share that we are doing all we can to earn your support during this crisis.  Thousands of dollars are still due for rent, utilities, phone/internet services, insurance, licensing fees, etc.  Without membership dues, we have no source of income to survive this storm.

Those continuing their memberships will receive an extension to make up for this missed time.  For now, we are here for you.  Tell us what you need.  We will continue to work hard every single day and fight to keep this amazing tribe of women together!  #sweatsisters

Mask Policy and Liability Form

Should I wear a face covering when exercising in a gym or other public facility?

The Anne Arundel County Department of Health recommends that within 6 feet of others, coverings should be worn when exercising, unless there are problems breathing.

May I remove my mask at Transformations?

Only when you are in your designated workout spot and socially distanced from others. On the main floor and in My Zone, spots are marked 10 feet apart. Cardio machines are 7 feet apart. Masks must be put back on the moment you need to leave your designated spot.

What is an appropriate face covering?

Any face covering that can be safely worn over your nose, your mouth and the sides of your face. This includes cloth homemade masks, and other similar face covers. A face shield worn alone does not completely cover the nose and mouth, and it does not qualify as a face covering. Masks with valves are also ineffective at preventing the spread of COVID-19.

What policies and procedures are required?

In addition to wearing a mask, we ask that members sign a Phase Two Liability Form and acknowledge the criteria each time they come to the gym.  The current protocol requests that all members sanitize upon entering the gym, wear a mask when navigating within the gym and interacting with others, maintain social distancing during workouts and adhere to their reservation times.  We also request that members only attend if they are not experiencing symptoms of illness and have had no known exposures to COVID-19 or have been tested for COVID 19 within 14 days.

Members attending classes in person will be required to fill out a COVID-19 Liability Form and adhere to county guidelines regarding MASK policies.

Nonmembers may request a VIRTUAL MEMBERSHIP and have access to daily LIVE Classes and 100s of workouts available to stream at your convenience.

Stream classes at your convenience

All members are invited to set up an account on Motionvibe.  We have saved OnDemand classes through our virtual schedule using this site.  Contact us if you need assistance in accessing our OnDemand options. 

Our trainers are also busy creating body weight-only workouts for our members.  View them on our YouTube Channel.  We offer several HIIT-style workouts and demonstrate options for all fitness levels just like our classes!
